Engineer Manager / Lead
Throughout my career perseverance, I have led teams across the globe and traveled the world. From LATAM, EMEA, and APAC, I’ve been in multiple roles responsible for both people paired with platform management as well as working closely with executive leadership across many Fortune 500 organizations during my time at Microsoft M365 and the MSP team at the #1 Gold partner. My favorite part of my career has always and will be helping folks understand technology after investing my life becoming a Subject Matter Expert.
Systems Engineer / Architect
Since high school now 25 years ago when achieved my first MCP certification for NT 4.0 is where it all began. I’ve never worked outside of information technology my whole life. As a kid, my dream was to be a hacker. In reality, I quickly saw my goal was to achieve the MCSE certification and become a Microsoft Grandmaster in systems engineering where I spent majority of my career. Along the way, I picked up all the surrounding technologies and skills required for systems in the enterprise realm.
Security Engineer / Architect
After 10 years of systems engineering and architecture, I decided to pursue my security dream. Having a strong background in systems has really made a difference in my cybersecurity career. My security palette ranges from multiple discipline areas: governance,risk compliance, monitoring & detection, security operations, incident response, forensics, vulnerability mgmt, pentesting, threat hunting, threat modeling, network firewalls, WAF, audits, threat intel, assessments, audits, and risk management.

Set-Career: Hello World! I am a 25+ year engineer / architect / manager currently working as a Principal Infrastructure Systems & Security Engineer at BlackSky.
I’ve worked in just about every industry ranging from: Nonprofit, Maritime, AeroSpace, Manufacturing, Software, Financial, Retail, Communications, Health, Science, Religion, News, Education, Department of Defense and Energy sectors.
I’ve always aligned my best interests with the company roadmap and consider myself a strategic thinker when it comes to implementing how I can apply those new skills to improve myself and better workflows overall across all of the teams and organization through constantly evolving collaboration effort between tools, people, and procedures.

Set-Studies: While time is limited these days, I am still trying to finish my certification goals and master PowerShell/Python. I'm also learning Tagalog to speak with the Filipino side of my friends and family. In addition I would like to pursue singing and playing the bass in a band.
Get-History: The rest is history. I’ve had a passion for tech ever since I was a 5yr old padawan. That is where it all started when I taught myself Chess on the original ChessMaster using my dad’s XT8088 and MS-DOS 2.2. I had a few scholarships Since then, I’ve achieved an engineer degree in net/sys/sec and many industry certifications. What’s next? Bring it on universe!
